Chepang village trek, is a short and popular trek attached with Prithivi Highway and Terei region. Even though naturally and culturally it is very rich but it is very backward in everything. One can see the views of Manaslu, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Ganesh Himal, and the same time one can enjoys the views of flat fertile Terei and dense forests. With this trek one can combine with Rafting activities at the start of trek and also can be involved on jungle safari at the end of the trek. It is in total for an about 9 to 11 days Programme including rafting, trekking and jungle Safari. While doing trek on this interesting region, you can be a part in writing the destiny line of poor local villagers in two villages. We have especially targeted the uppermost village in Chepang Gaun (1,700 Meters). Thorough the tourism we want to lift up the standard of Poor Chepang People.

On the first day we drive by bus for about 4 hours to Hungdu Khola on the Prithivi Highway. Upon arrival local porters from Chepang Gaun will assist us.

We do trek another 4 hours steep uphill to Shangri-la village, it is a tiny and simple Brahman village. The next day trekking will be through rolling hills with lush vegetation and rice fields, small houses in the beautiful traditional orange colors thst really catch up the eye.

The last two hours are the most difficult part of the trek as we follow the stream up the ravine to the pass. we can see down the Chepang Gaun valley and we follow the narrow path close to the mountain. On arrival in the village, we are served by their traditional Dal Bhat.

The next morning we trek to the top of the hill (Sirai Chuli 2000 m) where we have a magnificent view of the Himalayan range from east to west: Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu 8000+, and Annapurna 8000+ & Dhaulagiri 8000+.
